Current projects
Taylor is currently working on projects for both print and screen. Below is a list of her current works, and she encourages you to reach out with any questions you may have.
“We’ll Call It Love” - completed
Intended for Screen | Genre: Romantic Comedy | 120 pages | Ensemble cast
Log Line: Despite the love she can see in the world around her, Morgan is adamant such a thing will only make a tangled mess of her life and heart. Her cynical view that love can’t be like the movies is challenged by Jack, a romantic she participates in a strictly physical, fun, and don’t forget - secret - relationship with, after a mutual friend advises against it.
After receiving feedback from a few industry contests, Taylor is currently working on several re-writes of this script. However, she does have her finished draft available to read upon request. Currently, it is entered in multiple industry contests but not under option at this time.
You can find feedback from industry professionals as well as excerpts from this script here on Taylor’s website.
“To Whom It May Concern” - in progress
Intended for Screen | Genre: Romantic Comedy | Ensemble cast
Log Line: As if she’s the character in one of the very stories she aspires to write, Julie agrees to a fake dating ploy for a wedding, with her best friend Noah. Their friendship is put to the ultimate romantic comedy test while facing his family and friends, cliched tropes, and of course: his ex.
“Ask Again Later” - in progress
Intended for Screen - TV series | Comedy, Drama, Romance | Ensemble cast
Log Line: Through the celebrated tropes and genres of fiction, Elizabeth Murphy navigates the possibilities of a life with more than one “correct” path in terms of love, career, and everything in between.
Taylor is currently working on her “Bible” for this show as well as the pilot episode script.
“If I Could” - in progress
Intended for Print | Romance | Second-chance Romance, exes, forced proximity, hurt/comfort
Sticky diner tabletops, bitter coffee shared between yawns and heavy eyelids. An old car that smells like junk food, stale laundry, and her ex. Gravel that makes way to two lane black tops, oaks and maples in front yards that turn into deep forests of pine. Orange canyons and pink sunsets that hold their secrets and blue lakes that wash away the past. Broken promises, shared grief, letters addressed from a friend no longer here, and a chance to make it all right again.
